Job Summary

This position has the following core responsibilities: To lead and manage the maintenance function across Oilserv operational sites, ensuring high equipment availability, reliability, and asset integrity. The role also acts as Skill-pool Manager for Total Reliability, responsible for developing technical competencies, standardizing maintenance practices, and ensuring Oilserv meets global reliability and maintenance excellence standards.

Job Details

Maintenance & Asset Reliability Management

  • Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all critical equipment, machinery, and pipeline assets.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM standards, reliability best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain a robust Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) system.
  • Drive Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) programs and optimize equipment lifecycle.
  • Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution using CMMS tools.
  • Ensure strict adherence to maintenance procedures, SOPs, and HSE standards.

Reliability Engineering & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, update, and enforce Asset Maintenance Strategies for all equipment classes.
  • Conduct failure investigations (RCA) and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze MTBF/MTTR trends and recommend optimization actions.
  • Lead Reliability Audits, Asset Integrity Reviews, and maintenance performance assessments.
  • Champion operational excellence initiatives in maintenance performance.

 

Skill-pool Management (Total Reliability Manager Function)

  • Lead and manage the Reliability & Maintenance Skill-pool across all Oilserv locations.
  • Identify competency gaps and create technical training, certification & development plans.
  • Coach and mentor Maintenance Engineers, Technicians, and Reliability personnel.
  • Develop and maintain Competency Matrices for all maintenance-related roles.
  • Serve as the technical authority and knowledge custodian for reliability engineering.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide technical leadership to maintenance teams across project sites and workshops.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HSE, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure maintenance readiness and reliability improvements.
  • Participate in FAT/SAT, commissioning, and handover processes for new equipment.
  • Ensure contractors and OEM service providers meet performance and compliance standards.

 

E. Governance, Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure CMMS data integrity.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, OEM guidelines, and Oilserv standards.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spares inventory, and procurement planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
  • Professional certifications such as:
    • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
    • CMRP / CMRT
    • PMP (added advantage)
    • ISO 55001 Asset Management Certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 10–15 years maintenance & reliability experience in oil & gas, EPC/EPCIC, pipeline construction, or heavy industrial operations.
  • Proven experience managing maintenance teams and reliability programs.
  • Strong understanding of RCM, CBM, FMEA, Vibration Analysis, and Asset Integrity principles.
  • Experience with CMMS tools (SAP PM, Maximo, etc.).
