Job Summary
Ensure Operating safety standards are maintained in all operations, by ensuring that all policies are adhered to strictly and to also ensure that operators maintain and preserve the assets assigned to them.
Job Details
Leadership
- Take care of Equipment and accessories under his control by keeping it clean always.
- Comply with all approved procedures in all circumstances and seek approval in case there is need to act otherwise.
- Report fault on time and other checks including the interior components, to enable the system to plan.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained in carrying out all operations.
- Re-instate the equipment to ready-for-use state after every operation /project completion.
- Ensure that the equipment in your care has valid survey/particulars before operating/driving/use.
Core/Technical
- To report any fault or faults/Damages to logistics Officer.
- To carry out test, certify repaired equipment okay for use.
- Comply to policies and procedures for good asset upkeep (truck cleanliness, temperature and service)
- Report immediately of any broken-down equipment outside any of our bases of project camp/site to logistics supervisor and follow up in liaison with logistics officer to ensure the vehicle is towed to maintenance workshop or send Maintenance team for recovery.
Requirements
- SSCE/OND
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in driving/operating/rigging
