Job Summary

• To prepare and review the Project Security Plan. • To advise the Project Manager on all Security Matters. • Ensuring that the security system in place is adequate in view of the assessed Security Threats in place. • Coordinating the dissemination of information and intelligence with regards to any incident or occurrence that may affect the operational ability. • Conduct required investigation of security breaches at sites. • Ensure oversight function in decision and change of SOL and emergence response.

Job Details

Leadership

  • Establish cordial relationship with various security organizations to the benefit of the project.
  • Provides leadership initiatives to support business growth.
  • Provide advice and ability to resolves issues without escalating beyond control that will impact on the progress of the project
  • Coach and mentor, subordinates to ensure professionalism and the company’s core values are maintained 
  • Engage and coordinate the activities of Government Security Forces.
  • Mobilization of armed escorts for personnel and other security forces for the project.
  • Supervise the functions of the Security Coordinators and their subordinates at the spreads.
  • Maintain adequate access control for materials and personnel at locations;
  • Support other Managers to achieve their objective.
  • Provide security reports to the Project Manager regularly.
  • Conduct investigations to all incidents of security breach;
  • Render weekly security report summary to the client;
  • Assist the Project Manager in managing to achieve his objective;.
  • Assist HR in monitoring of the staff attendance register;
  • Perform any other assignment as may be directed by the Project Manager and Executive Management from time to time;
  • Execute designed security counter-measures;
  • Coordinate Security Logistics and personnel deployment;
  • Coordinate protective security arrangements for VIPs;
  • Provide Security Strategy Framework;
  • Undertake security risk assessment;
  • Verify Asset Protection Design;
  • Intelligence Management;
  • Provide threat assessment & mitigation;
  • Shall carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Security Manager.

Requirements

  • B.Sc., Bus Admin.
  • Professional Retired Military Officer.
  • Specialized Certificates in Security Management
  • Several years’ Experience in security management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written & communication skills are required.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
