Job Summary

 Managing and implementing HR policies, practices and processes required to achieve best-in-class People management for the AKK Project  Advising Managers on HR best practices and influencing culture change as the HR business partner for the AKK Project  Supporting the project in driving HR vision, strategy, plans and programs required to enable achievement of project objectives

Job Details

  • Provide HR leadership support in managing all aspects of HR delivery in the key areas of HR Strategy, Policy, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Talent Development, Performance Management and other key HR processes/practices in relation to the project.
  • Coordinate compensation and benefits programs, and plan design changes, enhancements, and/or new programs for the project. 
  • Supervise employee compensation and benefits administration (payroll), and the maintenance of accurate up-to-date employee data.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and legal/regulatory requirements, including new developments, thereby managing/reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance for the organisation
  • Maintain effective levels of employee engagement in all Group companies and deploy proactive employee relations practices to ensure a conducive and productive work environment.
  • Create best practice People management programmes and support the delivery of appropriate interventions in Recruitment, Learning, Performance Management, Career & Talent Development, and Succession Planning among others.
  • Influence and drive culture and behavioural change across the project
  • Provide professional HR advice, coaching and counselling to both Line Managers and staff, in both group and one-on-one situations where applicable
  • Support the corporate HR where applicable in developing, implementing and monitoring effective HR budgets and manpower plans
  • Ensure professionalism and right behaviours, among HR staff, and oversee their effective development and performance management
  • Assure ISO compliance across key HR processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Professional HR certification; CIPM, HRCI, SHRM or CIPD
  • 5- 8years’ HR experience in a fast paced or high-volume org. 
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage. 
  •  Ability to communicate at all levels 
  • Excellent organizational/time management skills 
  • Working knowledge of an Applicants Tracking System (ATS) or SAP HR
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites 
  • Knowledge of Advanced interviewing techniques 
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues – especially for top Engineering/Project Mgt talent
