Job Summary
• To carry out procedure and inspection test plan review for onward approval by the client etc. • To ensure and enforce same procedure and ITP in the field of activities on the project sites where ever required. • To carry out all the tests as required in the procedures and inspection test plans. • Carry out daily inspection and report same to my manager. • To record, report and document the daily reports and tests as observed and carry out or witnessed. • To ensure all the painting and coating personnel are qualified and certified for the operations, painting or coating. • To carry out any other functions relating to project sites as required by my manager
Job Details
Leadership
- As the team lead, ensure all personnel are certified for the application
- Ensure daily timely mobilization and targets are met and all the equipment are in good condition and available
- Monitor all daily activities and ensure compliance with procedure and ITP
- Work according to daily time schedules
Core/Technical
- Review of painting and coating procedures and inspection test plans in conformity with international codes and standards.
- Ensure all equipment for the job execution are certified for the purpose.
- Ensure all inspection instruments are calibrated and are up to date
- Report any non-conformity to my manager where appropriate, follow-up on the close out of those NCRs
- Generate and report all daily production activities appropriately and ensure pipetrak IT reports are generated as soon as possibly required.
- Ensure that quality, safety and production targets are met.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
- At the fore front of Occupational Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies, processes, procedures and applicable laws/legal requirements of the projects.
- Ensure the enforcement of all safety rules as required for all the tasks for the project.
- Ensure that the right PPE are provided by the HSE team and used.
- Ensure that toolbox meetings are observed before any start of daily operations and all in attendance.
- Encourage HIR reporting to all the team members and lead by example.
- Ensure all team members attend monthly HSE meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- NCE certificate English PITMANS London
- NACE level 2
- Certificate in America Galvanized institute
- Jotun paint school and CANUSA trained supervisor by TEPNG.
- Industrial Safety Management Certificate.
- Certificates in Construction Risk Assessment, Radiation Protection in Construction sites, Fire safety, Basic life support, Tropical Bosiet, and First AID
- Minimum of 5 years in corrosion control, (Painting, Coating and Insulation), Business and Budgeting, and HSE
