Job Summary

• To ensure, Examine and inspect materials and finished parts and products for defects, wear and/also to ensure conformance with work orders, specifications etc. • To prevent/identify quality problems, initiate and provide or recommend solution and verify implementation from the QA/QC Coordinator. • To implement the system quality assurance procedure by way of compliance and enforcement

Job Details

  • Verify contractor quality requirements as specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals. 
  • Visual Receiving Inspection of all Materials as per Purchase Order/Packing list/Delivery Note/Shipping Documents.
  • Color coding of Piping Material for identification & thickness color coding as per Project Specification.
  • Maintaining up to date records of Discrepancy Report (DR) & Non-Conformance Report (NCR).
  •  Conducting Inspection/Verification and monitoring of procured materials on Receiving Inspection at the warehouse and for direct delivery at job site. This includes verification of material discrepancy against purchase order, material data sheet, marking & identification and if any damages/Shortage initiate DR & Quarantine.
  • Check and evaluate the accuracy of submitted Mill Test Certificate.     
  • Ensure that records of inspection, testing and any other related activities and necessary documentation are in orderly and readily retrievable manner.
  • Maintain a tracking record system for Project Materials review and related information and confers with the Project Manager/PMT FOR Project Materials reconciliation/returns of excess material to Client and Handover processes.
  • Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between Projects/Departments/Sections according to production, projects and shipping schedules and compiles and maintains manual and computerized records. 
  • Ensure compliance with HSE strategic objectives as approved by GCEO
  • Attend HSE meeting
  • Ensure timely Nonconformance close out
  • Report Unsafe act and condition

Requirements

  • Minimum of a first Degree in Engineer/Science
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Relevant professional certification
