Job Summary
This position has the following core responsibilities: • Be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and review of the AKK Project HSE induction and training procedure. • Develop and conduct all in-house HSE trainings, monitor the implementation of all the External HSE trainings and manage the HSE training initiatives, with 100% implementation targets. • Communicate with HSE Manager/Coordinators and DPMs to identify the different workgroup HSE training needs, and mapping out development plans for the teams and individuals.
Job Details
Leadership
• Provide positive and professional leadership to HSE Training Officers in AKK Project.
• Contribute to the management of Oilserv AKK Project to support business growth.
• Delegate appropriate responsibility for the provision of HSE Training services & support in AKK Project, whilst retaining the reporting line and accountability to the AKK HSE Manager for the delivery of all HSE Training services and support.
• Provide advice and support to all departments in AKK project on matters relating to Health, Safety and Environment training.
• Support the implementation of the Group’s HSE Training policy in relation to the goal zero incident targets and objectives.
• Coach and mentor the HSE Training Officers to ensure professionalism and the company’s core values are maintained.
Core/Technical
• Assess HSE training and induction needs for new and existing employees and conduct same.
• Be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and review of the AKK Project HSE induction and training procedure.
• Develop and conduct all in-house HSE trainings and manage the HSE Training initiatives, with 100% implementation targets.
• Communicate with HSE manager/Coordinators and DPMs to identify the different workgroup HSE training needs, and mapping out development plans for the teams and individuals.
• Provide functional HSE leadership to all Project spread HSE personnel.
• Identify internal and external training programs to address HSE competency gaps.
• Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs. • Develop training aids such as PowerPoint presentations, manuals and handbooks.
• Map out HSE training plans for individual employees and Inform employees about training options.
• Facilitate learning through recognized training techniques and tools and a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching etc.
• Measure and report training effectiveness and provide feedback to program participants and HSE manager.
• Maintain employee HSE training records. • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees and manage training budget for cost effectiveness.
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
• Keep current on training design and methodology.
• Design and implement HSE training Programs to promote achievement of Project GOAL ZERO Objectives.
• Identify root cause for incidents and provide lessons learned to improve performance and prevent re-occurrence of incident.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any field.
• NEBOSH IGC, • Level 3 ISPON HSE Supervision training.
• Train the Trainer/Instructors Certifications
- 8 years+ experience in Oil and Gas Industry, with at least minimum of 3 years of HSE Training experience in EPCIC Pipelines & Facilities company.
- Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in HSE leadership functions in a reputable company.
